Thanks for checking out my website. This page contains a little bit of information about me, and what you can expect to find on this site. If you want to get in touch, then you can use the methods outlined in the Contacts page.
Who am I?
I’m a 20 something web developer that likes to write code, and happens to have an unhealthy obsession with the workings of radio technology (hence the Software/Radio geek). This site is an attempt to document this and as a result, it may break when I think of a great idea that just doesn’t work! (Sorry!)
Radio…?
I have always been interested in how this medium works, from an early age listening to Invicta FM to my 3 years at the University of Portsmouth where I was involved in the running of the student radio station Pure FM, firstly as a member of the station, and then in my final year, as the Systems Manager, thus looking after the web development of the stations online material while studying for my degree in Computer Science.
And everything else
Apart from programming and radio, I enjoy watching (and playing) football and cricket. I am a proud supporter of Gillingham FC, and the England cricket team, and try and go along to see matches when possible. In addition to this, I’m a keen cook, and when I’m not by my computer, or at a sports event, I may be in the kitchen experimenting with recipes and recipe mash ups. For this reason, don’t be surprised/alarmed if you find recipe suggestions on this blog!
This blog
This blog contains my ramblings on everything since late December 2007. Because of this, it contains blog posts throughout my time at University, and also more recently, musings about happenings in technology, radio and sport.
Thanks for visiting my site.
